Texas singer/songwriter whose music reminds me of that Linda Ronstadt/Southern California/Laurel Canyon sound. There's a nice cover of Jerry Jeff Walker's "Maybe Mexico" that closes out the album.

I wonder who their influences are?

Listened to the White Light album earlier today. This bare bones album is breathtakingly beautiful. My favorite track is probably "For A Spanish Guitar".

Pygmy Lush can do both hardcore, and dreamy folk numbers so naturally. They drift between the two on the split with Turboslut and their debut album "Bitter River". I really recommend to anyone who has ADHD, and to anyone who likes Pg.99 as a few members formed Pygmy Lush after Pg.99 broke up.

Bombino Nomad

Saharan desert blues. Love his guitar work here, very mesmerizing, reminding me at times of Tinariwen.
