I started listening to the Ape of Naples album after reading around in the Experimental forum a bit. The vocals in particular actually remind me of this Dave Matthews song I used to listen to all the time when I was in middle school. It's a weird parallel, and I seem to be doing that a lot lately. I heard Anna Faris in the vocalist for Hop Along when I listened to Get Disowned last night.

This song (and Womblife as a whole) is truly a testament to how brilliant John Fahey truly was. Not to take away from his other work, his whole discography is quite grand, but this is probably my favourite song of his.

Brought out Ju Ju to give a quick spin, and this caught my ears right away. Excellent, precussive classic Banshees!

Tempted by Squeeze. Best bass line of the 80's.

Some may say that The Cure's 1984 The Top was not a major highlight, but "Shake Dog Shake" certianly remains a fine song in my view. Came across this performance that had a little more edge to it. Their Drummer here is seriously going for the beat.
