I love me some Ubu. I've been slowly working through their music, since I'm still relatively new to post punk and alternative, and they're kinda hard to get at first. Finally starting to dig Dub Housing after falling in love with their early singles and The Modern Dance.

I just discovered that album a couple weeks ago. Fantastic stuff. Need to listen to some more Del the Funky Homosapien.

I listened to a few excerpts from the movie tonight, such as the two below, and they definitely make me want to see the whole thing. So thank you, maidahl, for your post about it:

Uggggh. I used to like Chris Tomlin, a long, long time ago. I can't stand him any more. His music is the epitome of boring Christian contemporary, and perpetuates the stereotype that all Christian music is awful. This is just my opinion, but if you want really, really good, creative Christian music check out Gungor, John Mark McMillan, United Pursuit Band, or Daniel Bashta. You won't be disappointed.

Anyway, I'm listening to Black Up right now. It's taken me awhile, but I'm starting to really get into this album. I think I need to expand my hip hop tastes into more stuff like this.
