Toxicity by SoaD. It seems they replace a little musical talent with a more satirical take on metal. I don't knwo whether its a lack of talent or just not trying, but it works fairly well.

The comedic side works fairly well. It reminds me of Psychostick. SoaD aren't a very serious band.

I don't see how they're compromising musical talent though, they seem to have a better approach to things like song structure and changing meter throughout their tracks than a lot of the metal bands of their time. I'm not saying that they're incredibly talented or anything, but they seem to understand music pretty well.

I agree. I don't believe they don't understand, but I certainly believe their brand of metal could be a little better at times. Example: one not, seconds of silence, the same four notes over and over again. Not exactly very well constructed, but it gets better throughgout.

Thanks for the change to the thread title Frown. And sorry if I'm annoying the mods with constant contact.

What do you think of the Sith theme? If you deconstruct that one and write it out like you did here, it'll sound dumb too.

You mean Darth Maul's theme or Vader's theme? Because both do a good job emphasizing the terror and villainry of the Sith Lords whereas this intro is pretty much another generic nu metal track.
