That video reminds me of how bad music was in the late 90's. With the exception of NIN, Coal Chamber, and Marilyn Manson everything just was bad. The decade started off so promising with Nirvana and Soundgarden and just produced **** by the end of itl

One of the best metal records of all time came out in 1998.

I love gorguts. But i didn't specify this very well. I was talking about mostly mainstream music. Aka the music in that video.

Where You've Been by Dinosaur Jr. I'm not a big alternative fan, but I'm gonna say this: Dinosaur Jr. is one of the best freakin' bands on the planet. Not quite Radiohead, but close.

Actually, I listened to I Bet On Sky last night. It was the second time I've ever heard it,l and the first time wasd back when I was starting my whole music obsession and was not very skilled at critiquing or separating the good from the bad. You want an example, I had like 10 Alice Cooper albums in my top 100. So naturally, I thought I would like this album less the second time around, since I gave it a great rating last time. Nope. I gave it a higher rating. I honestly think Dinosaur Jr. is one of the greatest bands ever based on this, Green Mind, Bug, YLAOM, and I Bet on Sky.
