Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Daft Punk are probably ok, but I'm not sure I'll go higher than that.
I don't mind their music but I wouldn't actively choose to listen to it.

Maylee Todd. Acts of Love. The whole album. > Daft Punk's entire career

Daft Punk aren't my favorite electronic artists out there, but Discovery is masterclass when it comes to house music and Homework and HAA, while flawed, have their moments as well. Alive 2007 is their best album imo because they take songs from those three albums and they combine them into these super bombastic and flashy mashups that sound great in their own right. It's a really unique and creative performance and they deserve kudos for it, no matter how ****ty you think they are.

Listening now. Is this going to be 45 mins of minimalist glitch? If so I might have to dip early in.

That's just one out of thousands too. Electronic music is in an incredibly exciting place right now and while Daft Punk does have a notable influence, we've gotten so far past them and are into much more interesting territories.
