I know this is late, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Donovan - "Barabajagal"

I started listening to this album and it is pretty bizarre compared to the stuff I usually listen to. Kind of eerie familiar too.. have I heard this before? Anyways I found it some pretty good music to just lay back in the car and chill too. Interesting stuff. The singer is good and incorporates some cool stuff into his music. Not bad

Well, I got Squeeze's East Side Story from Khfreek. Given Elvis Costello's standings in my lastFM charts, I enjoyed it. I wouldn't say it was anything truly amazing, but more very bright, glossy and unashamed new wave/pop, which I like a bit of every now and then. As I say, I wasn't completely blown away by it, but I imagine it'll grow on me even more. Very good album this - thanks Khfreek

Jim Guthrie - Now, More Than Ever - from Roygbiv

This album was a solid album but it wasn't anything special. It is definetly my kind of thing as it is folk/folk rock type music but it didn't really do anything for me. Jim Guthrie is sort of the generic singer/songwriter guy. There were a few good moments on the album like the opening track, "Problem With Solutions" and the song "Time is a Force" but nothing really blew me away.

I got this album from RezZ, thanks pal!

I gave this one listen only, but I did the same with Angles I believe so I think I still got a good idea of the album. It's an instrumental album that's simple with what it does. It's got the prevalence of it's instruments, though; the drums sound good, the guitars sound good, so the album sounds good. I like that they keep it simple on this album. The songs have patterns that you'll find on most songs, as in the sectional pattern. Each song is individual, though, and has it's own theme. The album is also mellow most of the time. It's very easy listening for me. I like what this album did, which was play good, simple music that pleases my ears. I'd say that this is something anyone should listen to for what it does.

PS: Wikipedia said Stoner Rock and I think RezZ did too, so I guess I got me a taste of that. I do enjoy it.
