Yeah, you've gotta give Beefheart's stuff more time than most records - give it another few spins when you're in the mood for it, and it'll start to make more sense as an album (should do anyway).

Anyway, I'm gonna listen to that album you sent me in a bit. Stay tuned

Surprisingly everything I have received in all 4 weeks has been good. Maybe being a pessimist isnt always the way to go. Although I need someone there to shoot down my stupid ideas.

I think once you're put into the position where you should open you mind to something you'll end up appreciating it in the end, in some way at least. It is music after all.

I didn't think i'd like Wolf's album she sent me but i think it's brilliant now, just because i made the time for it because of the thread. For that i commend you

Dont commend me, to be honest I made it out of my own selfish lazyness. That way its one less album Id have to search for. Without a daily dose of something new Rezz can get grumpy.

Anteater prevailed. He sent me The Gourishankar's 2nd Hands, some extremely progressive rock. There was classical, electronica, and hard rock thrown into this incredibly eclectic album. Brilliant album, thank you very much Anteater.

Sure, however, I haven't even listened to Kyuss yet! However, I do like Fu Manchu, and they're similar from what I hear.
