This thread needs some lightening up.

I'm a full grown man but I'm not afraid to CRRRRRRRRRRRYYY!

I cried when I heard Chris Cornell's "Scream" because I never thought he would come up with crap like that. I could've been crying because I stuck a fork in my nuts out of frustration.

Hope rebooting an old thread isn't frowned upon. Let me know if it is and I'll delete this post.

Last song that had me fully choked up and wrecked for a while afterwords was this:

Emotions built up the whole song and then when it got to this I lost it:

"After all your soul will still surrender.
After all don't doubt your part,
Be ready to be loved."

Not sure why. Think it's an age thing.

I've cried listening to a few songs but it's been during times of depression or when I was super baked. Weed makes me emotional apparently.

I cried, like, really hard once while listening to this. It was right after a tough goodbye with an Irish girl I met at a camp.

I remember reading that journal entry.

Last CD that I cried while listening to:

Transatlanticism by: Death Cab for Cutie

I don't actually cry, but I do regularly have tears in my eyes when I listen to music.
Not necessarily while listening to sad songs or something like that, just when I'm overwhelmed by the beauty of it.

One of the few songs that gets to me on lyrics alone.

(EDIT: Just realized this thread is meant for men! I'll leave it to share anyway.)

This song does not really make me cry but it did increase in emotional depth when I found out he wrote it about his deceased father and not about some chick that dumped him. Very moving when you listen to the lyrics:

any normal person would think you were crying because you live in Minneapolis.

but on topic, when I really need a good cry I always turn to the Carpenters. I'm a softie and a lot of things make me cry.
