The Beatles - Yellow Submarine

I can go without hearing this song for years and still spontaneously get it hopelessly stuck in my head - its very aggravating. Reminds me of the frustration of spontaneously blinking/swallowing/breathing voluntarily resulting in my inability to then to it involuntarily. Oh God! I'm in a world of hurt right now on both fronts.

Dead Kennedys' Too Drunk To Fuck

It taught me a life lesson that I just wouldn't be the same without *sniff*

^ Hahahaha, classy. Very classy, sir.

I've also mentioned this one a few times already on here:

Beethoven's Moonlight, Apassionata, and Pathetique Sonatas.

Try listening to it as an angry, I-hate-my-dad 12-year old girl.

I have a couple, as well as reasons...

Beethoven's Moonlight-My mom forced me into piano lessons, and I hated it...until I heard this. It gave me a real appreciation for the insturment, the way its played, the way its written....and its really, really beautiful.

Eric Clapton-Layla-I mean the real one with that AWESOME RIFF. I was 10 and buying crap pop records when I heard this.

Green Day-Redundant-Kind of blew my mind, because it expressed my exact feelings...I also love the composition, I don't care how commercial it is.

The Clash-London Calling-Non-biblical song about the appocolypse. Started my obsession with lyrics.

Black Flag-Depression-Started newfound appreciation for hardcore.

Hearing this in 1987 confirmed my beliefs then and still now:
