What genre would you say this female musician is? (alternative, country)

I have been following Zee Avi on youtube for quite some time now. She signed with Brushfire Records, and will be coming out with an album here soon. Was going to post a thread about her, but didn't know where to put it.

Also, if you care to give her a listen, what do you think about her?

Out of the categories we have on this board I'd say she'd fit best in either "Country, Folk & World Music" or "Indie & Alternative".
