That's one talented dog. The picture looks pretty European to me, style wise, so maybe that's where the difference of opinion comes from. Makes me think of old 70's comics from France and Belgium.

What I don't like about the cover is more about layout than anything else.

That's Irish artist Jim Fitzpatrick, who's also famous for making this iconic image out of a photograph of the man.

He also did some early Lizzy covers and is famous for that whole Erinsaga series, more of which below. **** you, Batty: you wouldn't know art if it came up and crapped down your throat.

Actually, that's bollocks. You hate Marillion, so it doesn't matter what my opinion of them is. I hate Cryptopsy. But I would not denigrate your opinion of them. I know a hell of a lot more about Marillion than you do, or want to. So that sentence actually makes no sense.
Neither of you know anything about my appreciation of art. I'm not big into art, but Fitzpatrick is recognised as one of the most important artists working on Irish mythology, and his work is similar to the illuminations produced by monks back in the last millennium, so up yours. You might not like the cover, and that's your privilege, but you can't say it isn't well painted, because the respect Fitzpatrick has in the art community ****s all over your amateur opinion.
