I'm going to give it to Davis, I'm not a huge fan of Jazz but it was definitely a good listen. The ministry track didn't really do anything for me.

Edit: Nevermind. Now I see where the number came from. Still, it's worth noting that the Ministry song has been around longer than Miles has been dead. |
And whether people remember it 18, 20, or 50 years from now has no impact on my enjoyment of either song. :p:

I think it's an invalid argument if Jazz is kept up on it's pedestal which then automatically negates anything put up against it. One track may be more musically accomplished and complex than the other but again it's all about preference. Unfortunately I really like both. I make the polls and give myself a headache choosing a track

I would just like to say that this is way too taxing of a decision to make this early in the morning. My brain hurts. Definitely not as cut and dry as the last one.
At first I wanted to pick Davis without even listening to them because I figured it would be no contest. But now that I’ve listened to both twice in their entirety, I think I’m actually going to have to go with Ministry on this one. It feels wrong in a way, like I’m ditching my nice, laid back old grand dad to go clubbing with my crazy, raucous friends, but it’s that energy that’s moving me right now. Nice job picking the songs there JH. |
Where's Song Vs Song III? This is a fun series. :thumb:
