I've never heard a Steely Dan song I've liked. Metallica, on the other hand, was an incredible band once upon a time who released a couple of fantastic albums in the 80s. The only thing Steely Dan has over them is a better name.

Lots of people like them. What's not to like? Name anyone who doesn't like them. Who doesn't like them? Well I don't like them. But most people do.

trace87: we argue all the time and he comes off as kind of a dick in his posts. However, I enjoy his posts and find him clever and sometimes humorous. It's weird, because as much as don't get along on here I think he would be one of the coolest posters to hang out with in-person because we have so much in common.

Charlemagne: he(?) has almost completely opposite tastes from me but I respect his ability to listen to punk music. Plus, he's just really nice.

RVCA: I love his(?) approach to music. If he likes it he listens to it, whether it's mainstream or not well-regarded or whatever. Respectable.

glastonelle: I think we have similar tastes as far as what we look for in the forum with regards to music and movies, and she's always eager to give something new a try.
