About music taste; As some of you may know I comb the 'what are you listening to now?' 'what albums have you bought or downloaded?' and 'albums you're digging'-topics every now and then. Two people whose taste I seem to like pretty much are Sidewinder and Burning Down. Thanks for some great tips, guys

I agree with this. It's not a bad record at all. I wouldn't call myself a fan and I hardly ever listen to Green Day but on the rare occasion I feel like listening to them I may put American Idiot on. I like Dookie too but Jesus of Surburbia is better than anything on that album.

Yeah what's up with bob.? My visits have been more sporadic lately so I have to say I didn't notice. But now that I know, I miss him.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I don't listen to Green Day anymore, but when American Idiot was released that was a pretty big moment for me. In that brief moment after it was released and before they completely blew up and were in your face constantly I played that album the whole time and it felt like one of those albums that you could live inside. Although i haven't listened to the album in a few years now, and I probably won't anytime soon, I do think that American Idiot and Dookie are the only Green Day albums you'll really need. Even when I was a Green Day fan I found the rest of their stuff slightly underwhelming compared to those two.
