I've heard of all of these bands but I don't actively listen to any of them, so I can't say much, I don't like KoRn, Pantera or the Killers, old Green Day is pretty good, and I like some of the Hives but I don't know that song.

The Microphones- Instrumental
Andrew Bird- The Giant Of Illinois
M. Ward- Post War
Cecil Otter- Duel
Bob Dylan- Forever Young

Another Sunny Day- What Happened To You My Dearest Friend?
Sufjan Stevens- Bring A Torch, Jeanette Isabella

This might mean I'm really stupid and uneducated, but I've never even heard of any of the bands on that list other than Bob Dylan.

So What - Miles Davis
One Tree Hill - U2
Listening Wind - Talking Heads
The Lion Sleeps Tonight - The Tokens
Creep (Unplugged) - Radiohead
Circle of Life - Elton John
By the Way - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Under Pressure - Queen
All Alone - Gorillaz
Open the Light - Boards of Canada

Ooh, I do like Joy Division. And I have the soundtrack Ennio Morricone did for 'The Mission'. Amazing film, I hope you've seen it seeing as your a Morricone fan, hopefully.

LOL, a fan of RHCP's earlier work, I presume?

Yeah, when you weigh it up against an album like "Blood Sugar Sex Magik", I'm not that big a fan of it either, I just think that it receives far less credit than it deserves, at least in contrast with the other two albums they've recorded since John's return. Also, love the Kyuss song in the last list you posted. Possibly the best rock band of the '90s, if you ask me.

It still sold millions of copies. Their most underrated work almost has to be something from the 80s because they were unknowns back then.

And I think you know who I believe was the best rock band of the 90s... ;)
