Yes this where I have to disagree with good ol' BullDog, I'm afraid Coldplay are excellent (I see some more in the above shuffle), also big shout for Death Cab there...

"Waltz for Aidan" > MOGWAI > Come On Die Young
"I Want To Hold Your Hand" > THE BEATLES > Past Masters
"5 from 13" > SOFT MACHINE > Six
"Nic Fit" > SONIC YOUTH > Dirty
"Play Me" > NEIL DIAMOND > Hot August Night
"Frozen River" > EVERYTHING BUT THE GIRL > Worldwide
"Meow" > FEHRPLAY > Hed Kandi: Ibiza 2010
"Castles In The Sky" > IAN VAN DAHL > Euphoria: A Decade Of Trance Anthems
"Angel Of Harlem" > U2 > Rattle and Hum
"Catch The Breeze" > SLOWDIVE > Just For A Day

** Can't pick a favourite here, nothing really outstanding.

I love Bon Iver and I used to be a big fan of Led Zeppelin but I don't really listen to them anymore. I have a couple of Immortal Technique tracks but I haven't heard that one though. The rest I haven't listened to.

R.E.M. - Let Me In
The Flaming Lips - Superhumans
Depeche Mode - Suffer Well
Teenage Fanclub - I Don't Know
Muddy Waters - Close To You
Echo & The Bunnymen - A Promise
My Bloody Valentine - Honey Power
Whipping Boy - Buffalo
The Beatles - I Am The Walrus
Air - How Does It Make You Feel

A tie between these two.

Awesome as always ^

The Flamings, My Bloody Valentine, Teenage Fanclub and the Bunnymen are highlights for me.
Haven't done one of these in a while. Haven't posted in a while even, here goes..

Nirvana - Negative Creep
Queens of the Stone Age - Like A Drug

Gonna do another to make up for my lack of shuffles!

PJ Harvey - When Under Ether
Bratmobile - Cheap Trick Record
Sonic Youth - Stereo Sanctity
Interpol - Hands
Away
Pixies - Isla de Encanta
Minutemen - West Germany

Mojo 04-10-2011 04:30 AM

Hehe, White Wizzard is kind of embarrassing.

Wayfarer 04-10-2011 09:14 PM

Lucky for you, I have no idea who White Wizzard are. :D

Good stuff by Funkadelic and The Beatles, though, and that's one of my all-time favourite Beefheart songs. I know I've heard Burial and God Is An Astronaut too, but I can't remember for the life of me what either of them sound like.

Hell yes to the Phish, and to that show - my friend's mother was at that show. Also, Gumbo's just a fun song anyway. REALLY love John Fahey. The man's brilliant. And a lot of other nice stuff on here. Nice shuffle!

Whiskeytown - Under Your Breath
Phish - Alumni Blues
Bess Rogers - You And Me
The Bats - Had To Be You
Tim Buckley - Morning Glory
Autechre - Uviol
Mike Gordon - Exit Wound
Trey Anastasio Band - Show Of Life
Jim Croce - I'll Have To Say I Love You In a Song
Galactic - Technocheck Collision

My fave Whiskeytown song is "Houses On The Hill" though I'm sure I've said that here before... I do like Autechre but don't know much of the rest...

"Down On Bond Street" > TOMMY McCOOK AND THE SUPERSONICS
"You Were On My Mind" > NANCI GRIFFITH
"Promenade" > U2
"Boys And Girls" > PIXIE LOTT
"Cold" > THE CURE
"The Killing Jar" > SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES
"Working Class Hero" . JOHN LENNON
"Ask" > THE SMITHS
"Raining In Baltimore" > COUNTING CROWS
"The Hardest Heart" > BLANK AND JONES

**Love Nanci but it's a pretty naff cover and it's the first time iTunes has thrown up The Smiths!

Not really into the Cure or any U2 barring their late-80s to early-90s era. I'm no fan of Counting Crows by any stretch either. Haven't heard any Tommy McCook or Blank & Jones, but otherwise a pretty awesome list. Working Class Hero is one of my favourite songs ever as well.

The Future Sound Of London - G Electro
The Zombies - She's Not There
Hawkwind - Kings Of Speed
10ft Ganja Plant - Righteous Dub
Los Lobos - Reva's House
Oasis - Be Here Now
Rufus Wainwright - Sanssouci
Scott Walker - Through the Long and Sleepless Night
Elvis Costello & the Attractions - Favourite Hour
The Coral - Song Of the Corn

^ Can't really pick one favourite, as that Oasis song's all kinds of awesome.
