Yeah, I'm 22 but I listen to older music (on average) than my dad who also collects vinyl.

For fun I'll do it again

Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground - White Stripes
Stone Soul Picnic - The Fifth Dimension
Dreadlock Holiday - 10cc
Marquee Moon - Television
Sunny Afternoon - The Kinks
Marigold - Headstones
Pictures of Matchstick Men - Status Quo
Feeling Alright - Grand Funk Railroad
Rainbow Chaser - Nirvana (the psych group)
Blinded By Rainbows - The Rolling Stones

There are some newer bands this time around...

I like the mix here. Not the biggest gangsta rap fan, but I REALLY like the Fugees. Sum 41 are decent. Smashing Pumpkins are good & I really like that album, Spaceboy is a cool track. Audioslave is solid too. Like a Stone isn't the best on the disc, but decent.

Will search out Wugazi and Lizzy Grant, as those two are the only ones I was not familiar with.

For the record, the Nirvana referenced above (and also appearing in my list) is NOT the Nirvana with Kurt Cobain. This is a different Nirvana from the UK back in the late 60s.

Kingcrimson: Super list. I hadn't heard the GFR cover of "Feelin' Alright" in many many years. It was nice to be reminded of that great tune again!

Here's mine for today:

01) Wes Montgomery - Not Since Nineveh - (Finger Pickin' 1957)
02) King Crimson - Pat's Meckanical Fives - (KCCC 13 [Nashville Rehearsals 1997] 2000)
03) Sam Cooke - Good Times - (Keep Movin' On 2001)
04) Fleetwood Mac - Remember Me - (Penguin 1973)
05) Van Halen - Panama - (1984 1984)
06) Queen - Funny How Love Is - (Queen II 1974)
07) Steve Vai - Bad Horsie - (Alien Love Secrets 1995)
08) Nirvana (UK) - Wings of Love - (The Story of Simon Simopath 1967)
09) Genesis - Misunderstanding - (Three Sides Live 1982)
10) Marillion - Jigsaw - (Fugazi 1984)

I love the mix of music in your list, for me De la Soul and Charles Mingus stand out as favourites!

I swear iTunes decided to bring out all the crap I listened to as a kid/teenager just to embarrass me!

That Don't Impress Me Much - Shania Twain
A&E - Goldfrapp
Satisfied - 5ive
Last Resort - Papa Roach
Papa Don't Preach - Madonna (Royal Philharmonic Version)
Underappreciated - Christina Aguilera
Rambling Man -Laura Marling
Poke and Destroy - The Presidents of the United States of America
What Do You Got? - Bon Jovi
Keep the Faith - Michael Jackson
