^I like the Beach Boys and Cpt. Beefheart, but unfortunately I don't know much of the others. But I'm curious about "Hang on to your Ego", are you a Beach Boys fan, or this song is one of the exceptions. Cause they do have much better songs :/

Astronomy Domine - Pink Floyd
She's Out of My Life - Michael Jackson
One for the Vine - Genesis
You Are Here - John Lennon
What Am I Going to Do - The Dovers
How Do You Feel - Jefferson Airplane
Dollars And Cents - Radiohead
When The Tigers Broke Free [Bonus Track] - Pink Floyd
I'm Not Down - The Clash
Oh Why? - Little Richard

Pet Sounds is a good way to start, their earlier stuff is shyte [borrowed that word from sidewinder lol]. Anyway, some good albums from their later career, my personal favorites, Smiley Smile and Surf's Up.

I have Pet Sounds too. I find it to be pretty overrated but it has some occasional interesting moments

Numbernine that's a great list, pretty much everyone there except maybe Michael Jackson is some one I love.

Iggy Pop- Tiny Girls
The Beautiful South- I Love You (But You're Boring)
Desmond Dekker- Get Up Little Suzie
The Stooges- 1969 (Remastered)
Tom Waits- Big In Japan
Glenn Gould- Bach: Goldberg Variations, BWV 988- Variatio 21 Canone Alla Settima. A 1 Clav.
Cesaria Evora- Cabo Verde Manda Mante
Mastodon- Ghost Of Karelia
Ben Folds- Battle OF Who Could Care Less
Sarah Vaughan- Gentlemen Friend

I can't say I listen to any of those artists except for Mastodon. I like the occasional Iggy Pop or Stooges song but overall I'm not really a fan. I also like a couple of Ben Folds songs but otherwise he doesn't do it for me.

Areknamés - The Web of Years
Mr. Oizo - Inside the Kidney Machine
Indian Summer - Touch the Wing of an Angel...Doesn't Mean You Can Fly
Geskia - Inside Out Nights
Diagonal - Child of the Thundercloud
µ-Ziq - Problematic
Ten Grand - Fuck You Guyses Teams
Cursed Chimera - No Control
Ten Grand - Let's Wreck the Van
ISIS - Hall of the Dead

Haven't listened to any µ-Ziq in a while, nice to hear a classic track. It nearly put me in a trance. Decent list overall...though I'm still not sure I enjoy Ten Grand.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I'm not familiar with some of that, but The Stooges, Tom Waits, Mastodon, and Iggy Pop are all pretty good.

Edit: Hell, Sidewinder posted before me. To be honest if yours was the most recent when I hit reply I probably wouldn't have responded since I know very little of that, so someone more knowledgeable could give their thoughts.

The Chemical Brothers - Shake Break Bounce
System of a Down - Hypnotize
Hideki Naganuma - Funky Dealer
Primus - Spegetti Western
Obituary - Bloodsoaked
The Roots - What Goes On Pt. 7
Nirvana - Come As You Are (Live, from the Unplugged in NY album)
Vader - Flag of Hate (cover)
The Sound of Animals Fighting - Un'Aria Ancora
The Beatles - Good Day Sunshine

The Beatles seem to pop up in all of these for me...

Hmm, not bad. I'm digging SOAD, Chemical Bros and the Beatles. Primus and the Roots are ok, not so keen on the rest of the.

The Heptones - Black On Black
Los Lonely Boys - Oye Mamacita
Brian Eno - Kurt's Rejoinder
Blackbeard - Binoculars
Sueno Latino - Sueno Latino
Television Personalities - Jackanory Stories
Kilburn & the Highroads - Rough Kids
The Mighty Diamonds - Tonight I'm Gonna Take It Easy
The Kinks - Mindless Child Of Motherhood
The Pogues - Blue Heaven

The Pogues are always an amazing choice. Can't say I'm too familiar with the rest though.

1. "Joe Strummer" Cowboy Mouth
2. "Messenger" Pinback
3. "Not Only Numb" Gin Blossoms
4. "Nothing But Sunshine" Atmosphere
5. "Dumb Hummer" Why?
6. "Good" Better Than Ezra
7. "Meat Shakin' Woman" Blind Boy Fuller
8. "Cowboys from Hell" Pantera
9. "Lovefool" Cardigans
10. "Tight Rope" Astronautalis

Points for Astronautalis, Why? and Atmosphere, but I don't really like the others I know, I've heard of but never listened to Pinback, and never heard of Cowboy Mouth.

Animal Collective- #1
Warren Zevon- Raspberry Beret
Phosphorescent- Pride
Edan- Promised Land
The Decemberists- The Crane Wife 1 & 2
The Morning Benders- Loose Change
Kaiser Chiefs- Time Honoured Tradition
Sufjan Stevens- Star Of Wonder
Pearl Jam- I Am Mine
The Mountain Goats- Lion's Teeth

I play this game too much. It's a good time killer though. Yes my favorite song out of these is a Christmas song, but it's a gorgeous Christmas song and I can listen to it year around.
