Oh this is why you're my favorite you know.

The Pogues - Sayonara (Hell's Ditch)
Talking Heads - First Week/Last Week...Carefree (Talking Heads: 77)

The Flaming Lips - Christmas at the Zoo (Clouds Taste Metallic)
Frank Zappa - Dirty Love (Over-Nite Sensation)
Queen - Radio Ga Ga (The Works)
A Tribe Called Quest - Vibes and Stuff (The Low End Theory)
Comus - The Herald (First Utterance)
Husker Du - Out on a Limb (Metal Circus)
Mos Def - Blue Black Jack [Feat. Shuggie Otis] (The New Danger)

Oh boy a great shuffle. The Herald... gotta be in my top ten favorite tracks ever.

Love RHCP, The Beatles & The Who. Like what Ive heard of The Church. And only heard one Silverchair song. The rest I clueless on.

The Rolling Stones - Under My Thumb
Tool - Jambi
The Offspring - Americana
Nirvana - Heart-shaped Box
Neil Young & Crazy Horse - F&^kin' Up
Pearl Jam - Immortality
Bob Dylan - No Time To Think
Primus - John The Fisherman
Nirvana - The Man Who Sold The World
AC/DC - Let There Be Rock

Good shuffle there! I love that NY & CH song, its a great "angry" song for me.

Rickenbacker 11-28-2009 08:09 PM

I don't have any real distaste for anything on your list, but none of the artists come close to being my "favorites," with the exception of Bob Dylan, who I love. And I guess I really like some things that the Rolling Stones have done (Sticky Fingers, Beggar's Banquet, Exile) but on the whole I'm not a giant fan. Oh actually I really don't like the Offspring.

Tom Waits - 9th and Hennepn (Rain Dogs)
R.E.M. - Talk About the Passion (Murmur)
Annie Lennox - A Whiter Shade of Pale (Medusa)
Queen - I'm Going Slightly Mad (Innuendo)
John Lee Hooker - Burning Hell (The Best of Friends)
XTC - I'm The Man Who Murdered Love (Wasp Star)
Pavement - ...And Carrot Rope (Terror Twilight)
Miles Davis - Pharaoh's Dance (Bitches Brew)
Lisa Miskovsky - Still Alive [Benny Benassi Mix] (Still Alive - Mirror's Edge Soundtrack)
David Bowie - Warszawa (Low)

Beautiful soundscape. Honorable mention goes to Queen.

storymilo 11-28-2009 09:32 PM

Hmm well I haven't heard of Lisa Miskovsky, and I'm not really an Annie Lennox fan, but the rest are awesome.

Pink Floyd- Run Like Hell
Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band- Pena
Beastie Boys- Hey Ladies
Bob Dylan- The Ballad of Frankie Lee & Judas Priest
Tool- 10,000 Days (Wings Pt. 2)
Megadeth- Symphony of Destruction
The Zutons- Dirty Dancehall
Johnny Winter- Broke And Lonely
Lyle Lovett- Creeps Like Me
Otis Redding- These Arms of Mine

Tough choice for favorite, goes between Dylan and Redding.

p7byrd 11-29-2009 12:28 PM

Lyle Lovett, for someone so ugly, sure makes some pretty milquetoast country. And that's all I have to say about that.;)

Wake-Up Bomb - REM
So Hungry So Angry - Medium Medium
I Never Promided You a Rose Garden - Lynn Anderson
Monkey - George Michael
Persis - Brian Eno and J. Peter Schwalm
A Short Term Effect - The Cure
Living in a Box - Living in a Box
Ground Level - Stereo MC's
Freak Me - Silk
Jean the Birdman - David Sylvian/Robert Fripp
