Teenage Fanclub was great, have been meaning to get that album for a while, I also enjoyed Beardfish as well even though it's not my usual kind of thing.

I actually didn't like the Beardfish track at all. I've heard one of their albums and think it's decent, but I think in general they suffer from not knowing what the hell type of music they want to play, especially on this track. It was all over the place and not in a good way for me. The album I've heard was more cohesive than this one track. Again, after just one listen to the track that is.

It's probably my favourite song that Costello's ever sung. Shame you don't think so much of the rest of the album though - I actually think it's one of the guy's best.

I'll confess that I haven't listened to the comp yet. Kinda forgot about it really. I'm sure I'll give it a spin in a few hours though.
