He has always been on the fray of pop music, and something different... alternative lol there we go. If you really like him, listen to one of his older albums Selections for Friends. Its really raw, and demonstrates the mastery he actually has over his vocal cords.

I've been hooked listening to his song Clockwatching for days!! He really is a talented musician, and writer.

Default a lil overrated
yes i cant agree enough that the song i'm yours is very catchy.. but the song is a lil bit overrated dont you think?? jason mraz is okay but this song is overrated..

I wonder if there's any correlation between the fact most of the people who seem to like Mraz all have less than 20 posts.

I like Jason Mraz. His latest album isn't great but I don't hate it. I'm Yours is sickeningly overplayed but I'd take him over Jack Johnson and his banana pancakes any day.

I mean come on, what's not to like?

I gotta agree there... quite an earnest, likeable dude... I'm going to sit here and say everything he does is pure gold, but as a solid little pop singer / songwriter he can sure hold his own.

Whenever I mention Jason Mraz to my friends, they tell me that they don't like him :/

I'm guessing it's because of "I'm Yours" and the new remake with Lil Wayne and the other guy. Still, to judge an artist based purely on one song (and probably Remedy from years back) isn't something to do. I don't know. I also find it interesting how he's able to create songs from that lyric game he plays, lol.

I can't stop listening to Butterfly, Dynamo of Volition and Coyotes XD
