So you respond to it because you can sing it is that right, regardless of gender? Are you sure its not the type of song that is being sung I know you said it has nothing to do with genre, but how is that possible? I am sorry I am not going to trust you to sing Hearts of Glass and my wedding it's just not gonna happen.

That would be a female singer, so I wouldn't blame you. It obviously depends on whether or not the song is good. I can think of good male and female singers in genres I listen to, but I'm more likely to sing along to the male. I'll still listen to the female vocalist but I like to sing along to music because it helps me connect more to it like I'm contributing. Thus a preference to the male voice.
