Music Banter Song Contest
 

Starting at 11:06:00 PM Saturday August 29th 2009 there will be a contest held for the best musicbanter song created by a member. Time extended a few days!


PS TO EVERYONE: Last day will be September 13!!! So if your making a new one or first one, have it picked out and posted/pmed to me by then.

If you can put them on youtube, even if theres no video so that in the voting thread everyone can listen easily, and so i dont have to upload 10 songs myself.

Now there wont really be any rules to this except the song must be at least 1:00 minute in length. (not file length but actual song length) It must relate to musicbanter in some way that the listener can notice. (preferably lyrics)

Also nothing discrediting or putting down musicbanter. I have made a quick 15 second midi example of something not to do... (so that mods do not shut the thread down for flaming)

If I'm not being a lazy prick this week I'll get a song in for ya.

This sounds like a really cool idea, are lyrics going to be involved or is it purely instrumental? That said what's the judging criteria going to be for instrumentals and songs?

I fixed it a tad. And I really dont want to set any rules because the more eclectic the entries are the better. They will e judged simply in a poll by members of MB.

As said above if its instrumental it should in some way remind the listener of Musicbanter. If not DISQUALIFIED!!!

lol no problem. My theory is the less rules the more people will hopefully enter. Considering this is a music forum and nearly everyone hear plays an instrument id think they would take advantage of free feedback. I know i will.
