I hated the whachamacallit solo, sounds like a cartoon sound of falling and rising. ? Me confuse self, can think not of name of thingy.
Seems to fit within the context of a silly song, IMO. I can see it as annoying, but the whole song is embarrassing in itself.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I always liked the song. I would dance to the beat and then embarass the hell out of myself during that solo by doing things I shouldn't have done on the dance floor.

OH! WAIT! Embarassing to the BAND, not ME...

Okay how about Slightly Stoopid's song "Till It Gets Wet." After releasing the previous album, Everything You Need, this song on the following release, Closer to the Sun, completely sours the entire album, let alone the dub reggae dancebeat it is sung to.

Everything You Need is one of my all time favorite albums though. I feel betrayed.

part of "Hey You". It's one of the finest examples of darker Pink Floyd right up until that point. It gets almost... cheery.

.....Elvis Costello has good songs with a few cambrian moments.

One that comes immediately to mind for me is "New York City Cops" by the Strokes. I love this song but god damn is the vocal intro retarded. I feel shame for Julian Casablancas every time I hear it.

Ow!

I mean: Agh!

No, I didn't mean that at all.

blasphemy.

the best strokes songs.

I loathe the "di-di-di-di" in Here Comes The Sun.

The guitar solo in Hysteria by Muse.

One of the most awesome riffs in the history of riffdom, topped with an incredible, nay, amazing song - and then that guitar solo.

Matt may be a great singer, and a great pianist, and a great riffer - but he should leave solos to those who can play them, IMHO.

/grabs coat and runs from legions of angry Muse fans who actually rather like the solo...

1. The spoken French portion of 'United Abominations' by Megadeth. They're saying 'We need a new bicycle.', if my French doesn't fail me.
2. Sabaton, 'Reign of Terror ': "Night time, prime time! Ancient legacy of crime!" Please, stop! You're embarrassing me!
3. The "Oh no!" from Black Sabbath, the song. The rest is good, but that part sounds cheesy.

^ Still better than the French part from Talking Heads' "Psycho Killer" [tho it's my favorite part ] and nothing's wrong with Megadeth's French portion also.

I don't know where you got the "bicycle" from, but that's what they're saying:

-Unissez votre revolution ------- Unite your revolution
-Nous avons besoin d'un nouvel ordre mondial ------- We are in need of a new world order

Your French is failing you BIG TIME!

Maybe that's why French people routinely throw things at me.
I mis-heard the last part of 'nouvel' and the 'o' of 'ordre' as 'velo'.
