In that case, do NOT follow the link I posted on the previous page, and definitely do NOT listen to the music contained therein, because I'm not Lady Gaga and my music probably won't get 25mil+ hits even if I did decide to post it on YouTube, so it obviously sucks and I should stop right now.

5 minutes of your life has now not been wasted thanks to this warning message.

The music comes first. The notoriety may be a result of the music, but it's not the reason for the music.
Just don't think that even half the crap that's out there is a result of due process. A lot of it is the result of mass media marketing and piggy-backing off the previous garbage that people bought into and shelled out billions for. Most of the crap people are exposed to now days is nothing more than a commodity that's going to retread itself to change with the culture in order to keep people buying.

That's not what you should buy into.
Buy into yourself and your own creative ability. Make music you feel and love, and if anyone else ends up loving your music too, well that's just a bonus.
Freebase Dali, this is beautifully expressed. I agree with your advice to make music you feel and love.

I recommend you start with "Driven", "Getting Away With It" or "Falling Down".
Hey Certif1ed,
I agree with Mr. Dave that the MB rules appear to say you have more than enough posts to allow you to post the link to your music in your signature. Of course, those of us on MB, such as myself, who are especially curious about others have probably already checked out the link to your and your bandmate's myspace page listed in your profile's contact information, and have been enjoying your haunting, rhythmic music (complete with euphonium?) for several weeks now! Sam might benefit from checking out the music from up-and-coming artists, too, because listening to the music that others create for the joy of it (and not primarily to make hit, pop songs) is a great way to feel inspired musically.

I have to agree with this,I use to think of money and all the ho*s the musicians have.Know I write and play just for the hell of it,because I have fun doing it.I want to write about my life in music,if people relate to it then thats awesome. I write what happens to me what I feel, not what everyone wants to hear. You probly wont read this, you only posted once and lef?.Not cool.LOL
