Throat vocals are throat vocals.
Anyone who says hardcore punk and 90's emo is boring imo is just plain wrong. People who think noise rock is crap have no imagination. People who think noise rock is the best thing ever don't have ears. People who love over produce albums have weird expectations for music I love tape hiss and poorly produced albums.

nahh there were plenty of sh*te european bands but i`d long stopped caring to bother hearing those,I`ll just blame the Florida death metal movement if you think i`m being unfair.

I know i was on the UK's side in the UK vs US argument, and i think the brits had better music throughout the 60s and 70s (not including punk, since the american since was just as good, if not better) but most of the modern music i like is american.... I find a lot of modern UK music to be crap (The Libertines, Franz Ferdinand, Ours, Stereophonics)... I don't really like many modern brit bands, save Radiohead, Porcupine Tree and Super Furry Animals.
In fact, Iceland and Canada has a more promising music scene, and that's just sad.
