Nice Chet Zar avatar...

All of Tool's videos are stellar, well, except for Hush. I think the most interesting and touching IS Parabol/Parabola. That gets me every time, and the ending is beautiful.

I haven't seen that one until now. That's possibly the best video clip I've ever seen.

One of my fave videos is of Broken Bells - "The Ghost inside". A lovely mini-epic space adventure of a girl searching for the picture postcard paradise she so longs for, only to end up selling her body parts in the process to raise funds that in the finish she is completely shut down. Revived by those who find her, complete with a new working body, she is dropped off on a world with nothing on it but dust. Amazing.

Gary Jules - "Mad World"

I love the juxtaposition of the melancholy song with the images of happy children joining hands to create whimsical scenes together...the opposite of madness. The light-hearted playfulness of the children makes the sadness caused by adults' choices more poignantly sad.

The song also causes me to think of how spending time with elementary school kids on a playground is such a good way to tear oneself out of one's depressed mind-set and enjoy life as they do. I love the fact that kids pull me back into the present where a simple activity like an underdog push on the swing or playing "Zombie" tag is a source of delight making the moment wonderful:
