Default PHOTO GALLERY: Best Worldwide Festival Photos 2009
As an aspiring photographer myself, I'd love to have the opportunity to travel the world and shoot music festivals year round (especially if it were for a reputable media brand). So, I'm always jealous when I come across galleries like this. Anyways, these are apparently the "best" global festival pics, I don't know if I agree with all of them but it's cool to see photos from some of the smaller festivals, as well as the big ones. I'm posting just a few of my favorites but there's like 130 (artist/fan) pics in the gallery if you are interested. I'd be awesome if everyone could post their favorite 2009 festival photo (original or not)...might make for a cool discussion : )

No, I really wish I could claim to be the photographer of these pics. It seems as though they were taken by a few different photographers and compiled into one photo gallery. I'm in love with quite a few of them, the faces of these fans are classic.

They were taken at a German Metal festival in June using a generic Fuji 9MP camera. I was just lucky to be close to the stage. German audiences seem to be a little more placid than many other countries , so the atmosphere was very laid back.
