Default What musicians/bands have you met?
I'm curious to find out who has met some of their favorite bands and musicians and maybe what their encounters were like. I'm including my own list below...

I personally met the Raveonettes. That's was pretty amazing as their one of my favorite bands. But that is the only band I have met in person.

I met Howling Bells on a tube train a couple of weeks ago. I was rendered a blabbering idiot mostly due to the fact Juanita Stein is so incredibly hot.

I met Scottish guitarist extraordinaire Tony McManus and shook his hand after a mindblowingly good show about two weeks before Thanksgiving.

Excluding concerts and music venues, I met Anthony Keidis in Tokyo when he happened to stroll into a clothing store I was casually shopping at with my sister. Small guy.

Robert Hingley of The Toasters.
Todd Hembrook from Deal's Gone Bad gave me a shout out when I asked him to play a song before his set. Also the bassist from Voodoo Glow Skulls.

I met Finn Andrews and Sophia Burn of The Veils a week or so ago. Which made me very happy because The Veils are one of my favourite bands at the moment
