I'm turned on by anything that's not crap.

Actually, truth be told, I'm turned on by some crap too.

- The artist needs to look hot and show a lot of flesh (if female)
- The artist needs to look tough and really cool (if male)
- The band need to be a decent age im not listening to any pensioners signing naa meean?

seriously now....

It depends on the genre. Rap specifically for me has to express the artists thoughts/opinions/emotions or tell a story (fictional or not) or be thought prevoking. Rock (all forms) have to be able to evoke some sort of emotion from me whether it's anger, sadness, excitement, happiness ect. Also i have to enjoy the sound, for example the Who's "baba o'riley" and "eminence front" don't evoke any specific emotions but i just love the sound. The music is brilliant. Then for me classical has to create a strong atmosphere, any kind of atmosphere (similar to what i was saying about emotions) but it has to be strong.

I could go on... but i can't be bothered.

I like music which tends to stick in my head once I've listened to it, because its kind of no pointless if you listen to an album then you can't really remember anything memorable afterwards.

Also, I like good, simple drum beats that you can tap along to (albeit badly) and stuff that is a bit quirky and different, that not everybody knows about.
