I actually find it incredibly interesting, but I guess I can also see how it's not everyone's cup of tea. Still, what is most impressive to me is how much she experiments with electronic music. It's so easy for people to lock in to one particular way of making music (like dubstep), that people seem to forget the possibilities with electronic music are infinite. Grimes is a step in the right direction, imo.

I really don't care for much of the whole "indie-electro" thing that gets a lot of positive buzz, but I think my love for that album just came from the happy feeling it gave me. It just puts me in a good mood and sometimes that's enough for me to like an album despite whatever faults it may have.
