(NumberNineDream has not been on as often, but +81 and I would like to continue the thread. We have many new people and many new albums to consider.)

NumberNine is being difficult and won't start the thread herself. ;P
Basically, her idea was for us to have something like a book club, except with albums instead.
For us to choose an album, and then all of us to give our opinion.

I'm in.

Rules:

- Send album submissions VIA PM to AwwSugar (Me) or +81.
- Each week, the list of submitted albums will be assembled privately, between the two of us. One will be randomly picked. (We have a process to do this already)
- The randomly picked album with a link, will be revealed.
- Whoever chooses to, will download this music, listen, and post their opinion to be discussed.
- At the end of the month, the list will be cleared, and the PMs should be resubmitted VIA PM.

Please read also:

The list refreshes the day the album is picked, so until the next week, the following list is being made. PMs may be submitted at anytime.
There are no limits for submissions altogether, although there is a limit of one submission per member, nor are there limits for participants.
You don't have to submit AND review, but we do need a good number of submissions as well as a good number of reviews.
Remember that we refresh each week, so it'd be wonderful if you tell us if you're in or not. :3

I feel like someone's come up with this idea before, or it's just a really good idea and seems like it can't have taken this long to come up. Either way I'm very in.

Me too, obviously.

Now the hard part would be to choose one single album for the week, for that we can maybe just have the usual rules. The active members only can participate, so the participants must have more than 100 posts. Then, after seeing who are the weekly participants, we get anyone who's up for it to upload an album, or just post a link to album recommended. It doesn't have to please the majority's taste, or be easy on the ears... just something you think everyone should give a chance and hear it.

That sounds easy except every body would be up for it. I say each member puts an album they want on the table and then the person running it will randomly pick who the winner is.

Oh NOW Nine takes charge. ;P
But seriously, maybe there should be a rule that keeps less people in here.
Maybe a theme or something?
I just can't imagine.
With all of us?
There would be 100 albums in here a week.

That can work.
...or maybe in some way can run the suggestions in order, and then when they're over get another group of suggestions?

Whatever works best of course...

Edit: about what Sugar said, I don't think a theme should be in order... maybe just a limited number of suggestions, and not necessarily participants.

Obviously, we don't need a list.
And obviously there will be a suggestion.
But maybe everyone will give their ideas at the beginning, and I'll edit it into the first post.
When we finish, I'll cross it off.
That way, the list is on my post, at the beginning, and we can decide from there.
The only thing is, how do we decide what gets on the list?
