Hmm, more bitter than The Smiths? At least post-Waters Floyd and Roger Waters have shared a stage together. ;)

David gilmore only did that for charity. He'll never forgive Roger.

I don't know, I still think The Smiths might be worse. Like PF, rivalries have turned into trials and they've resisted all external attempts at getting them back together, for example for TV productions or for very large sums of money.

I'm no expert on the breakups of either bands, though. I wasn't there with my bitterness meter to get a good measurement.

As for "Simeon and Garfunkel" I believe Simeon walked out after getting tired of Garfunkel constantly mispronouncing his name.
Which is completely understandable, as that shit can become quite irritating after a while.

'Smith' changed their name to 'Jones' and went on to be extremely successful despite the constant bickering between front man Dorrissey and guitarist Johnny Doe.
Their debut album, the self titled, 'The Jones' was followed by such classics as 'Meat Is Moider', which became popular amongst New York's criminal fraternity for tracks like Brooklyn Ruffians and The Godfather Ritual and This Poll Ain't Funny Any More.

I lol'd so hard.

Don't remind me!

Oh the heartache. :(

The Clash had the nastiest break-up because it resulted in an almost universally panned album.

...which I still have yet to listen to for various reasons.

I went with The Smiths.

Hardly anyone's listened to it

I bet Urban has though

I own the vinyl, but it was like 50 cents, so why not

I'm really scared of what will happen if I do.
