Nastiest band break up poll

I think the beatles did pretty much everything better than everyone else so...

Not sure who "Spandaou Ballet" are, or why they broke up.
As for "Simeon and Garfunkel" I believe Simeon walked out after getting tired of Garfunkel constantly mispronouncing his name.
Which is completely understandable, as that shit can become quite irritating after a while.

'Smith' changed their name to 'Jones' and went on to be extremely successful despite the constant bickering between front man Dorrissey and guitarist Johnny Doe.
Their debut album, the self titled, 'The Jones' was followed by such classics as 'Meat Is Moider', which became popular amongst New York's criminal fraternity for tracks like Brooklyn Ruffians and The Godfather Ritual and This Poll Ain't Funny Any More.

Did what?
What exactly are you asking us to choose here?

Most violent break up?
Most missed band?
Band that had the best future ahead of them?

Half those bands you listed didn't even break up in a nasty way anyway.

Good thread idea. Shame the spelling and grammar are absolutely shite.

i say Pink Floyd. idk, it just seemed like they were the most bitter and mad at each other, especially with Roger Waters

In terms of how bitter the split was either NWA(with the death threats and continued animosity until Eazy-E's death, although I'd question whether or not the feud between Dre and E was for real given E's album sounded suspicously like Dre produced), or Pink Floyd/The Smiths given the continual court cases scuppering any hope of reconciliation. With the exception of The Sex Pistols and NWA(neither of whom were never much cop IMO), most of those groups were very much past their creative peaks by the time they disbanded, meaning their disbanding was simply the natural course of events. If you want a group whose disintegration was genuinely a loss to music on the grounds of unfuffilled potential, The La's,Life Without Buildings or The Specials would be far worse break ups.
