Yeah they're atrocious. They sound like Husker Du without the interesting parts.

Yeah I find Zen Arcade really redundant. I honestly am not to big on anything Bob Mould did, especially Sugar. If anything I think Metal Circus is the most listenable thing Husker Du ever did.

And in regards to me not being able to get into Joy Division, I will just don't understand all the fuss. I guess I just don't "get" them.

Very nice list there. If you haven't got it already, you should get hold of Elvis Costello's Spike - easily one of the more original albums of the 80s, and a rival to Imperial Bedroom whenever I'm thinking about my favourite Costello album.
