It just isn't as good as the top 5!

bob. 08-29-2011 01:27 PM

sir i beg to differ :)

i love its loud popness

Sneer 08-29-2011 01:53 PM

I couldn't justify putting it above an EP that includes the song Strawberry Wine, that track is pop perfection. And I prefer The New Record by My Bloody Valentine to Sunny Sundae Smile. But to be honest I like everything the band has done, I'm a bit of a fanboy.

bob. 08-29-2011 02:01 PM

i put the new record and sundae smile pretty much as equals....verty much the same sound on them....but you made me realize is by far my top of all their releases :)

YMMR pushed Glider all the way, but ultimately the latter has my two favourite MBV songs on it - Soon and Off Your Face, so it had to be that.

On a side note, I've always wanted Tremolo and Glider to be combined into one release, I think that would be one hell of an LP... but then of course you would be depriving Loveless of two of its best tracks.

3. Jonn Zorn - Spy vs. Spy: The Music of Ornette Coleman
4. John Zorn & Fred Frith - The Art of Memory
