5 Favorite Garage Punk singles that missed the charts by bands with iconic National Top 40 Hits (Not even Bubbling Under)

1) Love - Your Mind and We Belong Together (1968, the classic final round for the great line-up)

2) Shadows of Knight - Someone Like Me (1967, later to be covered by Julian Cope)

3) The Music Machine - You'll Love Me Again (1968, as Bonniwell Music Machine)

4) The Seeds - The Wind Blows Your Hair (1967, better than most Future tracks and later covered by The Damned as Naz Nomad and the Nightmares)

5) The Standells - Animal Girl (Cheesy, but in an AIP Movie kind of way. I'm a sucker for that sometimes)

Bonus Track, due to it having a possibility of moving up the charts before many radio bans, The Standells - Try It, 1967.
