Mine changes almost every day, but Wet Cement by The Morning Benders is quite possible my top favorite. It's a perfect song for a summer evening. I love the album art from them as well

whoops on the link there.

I agree about Sorrow though, fantastic song. I dig all of High Violet but Sorrow and Conversation 16 are definitely the standouts for me.

I know, woopsy.

Hi5! Sorrow is my stand out song of High Violet, I love that album. Up there rivalling Alligator as my favourite. I feel High Violet is a little top heavy, though I do like the second half batch of the album.

Finally, the summer. I can start digesting some new music...

I'm just scratching the surface of this album, but I'm already really impressed. I adore his voice.

The Tallest Man On Earth! I love that album so much. Little gem of an album when I first found it.

I've had it lying on my hard drive for 2 months, yet I've just now had the time to listen to it. I've never wanted to slap myself this hard...

I imagine the new TWDY will have a nice enough ambient piece. Considering all of the disappointment people seem to be having with their new material, I'm actually quite anxious to find out what it sounds like.

I don't know what it is, but that voice really really grates on my ears like sandpaper. I'm probably hypersensitive to his fundamental frequency (or the way his vocal tracks were EQ'ed) or something, but it was hard to listen to.

Not to mention the autotune vocal correction that was plainly apparent in some parts. Seemed like it would have been better with a natural drift.

Maybe I should listen to more of it or something... have any suggestions?
