Sure they do. The thought of listening to them makes me cringe. I refuse to like them, even if I did at one point.

My least favorite bands are probably Five Finger Death Punch and Bullet For My Valentine. I hate Five Finger Death Punch because it is just mindless screaming where you only catch 2 "words" before the song is over. Also, the de-tuned guitars sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies, as Dave Mustaine from Megadeth would put it.

I hate Bullet becuase it just sounds like absolute crap and should not be regarded as music. Go listen to some old school Metallica and GNR or something rather than wasting your time on these 2 bands. People today have better things to do.

Yeah and the Beach Boys... I can see how they might be annoying but they're not bad like those other artists.

I get that all the time...but I really hate Cobain's voice...drives me up the wall.

But I know I'm in the minority.

I actually love his voice, his and John Lennon's voices are two of the best in my eyes.

Bad vocals (or just vocals I personally don't care for) are grounds for immediate dismissal. Unless the band is 50% or more instrumental...then I can be forgiving. But vocals are generally too prominent to ignore, and if I don't like 'em, they can GTFO.

I think this is why Elvis Costello gets flack, cause his voice annoys some people.

Only ever hated 1 guys voice and thats chris martin out of coldplay, makes me cringe like f*** ... just makes me wana grab a razor blade.

All my picks for this thread have been mentioned about a gazillion times by a gazillion different people already, so listing them again would be boring as for all concerned.
Yeah, that's basically the complaint that's cropped up the most with him that I've heard. Same with a few other artists I love like Midnight Oil, Scritti Politti and so on. Obviously I've got nothing against them myself, but I can definitely see the angle all the naysayers are coming from.

I've come to the conclusion that I really dislike a majority of country music. I've really tried to get into some of them and actually perused Pete's entire Gothic Americana thread. Most of the stuff I just couldn't get into. Although this song did stand out to me immensely and I thoroughly enjoyed it:

Yep, James Brown too. So, yeah, the man's done a lot of stupid things in his life. Doesn't stop me liking his music as I do. Plus, being called a racist for liking someone who made a racist remark about 30 years ago and nothing similar since is a bit much really.
