I`ll skip some of the obvious ones that everybody mentions I`ll let you lot say them

Fleetwood Mac - Everything I hated about the 70s , limp wristed soft rock for girls.

The Eagles - Just because everybody else bought Hotel ****ing California doesn`t mean I have to.

Cocteau Twins - Coma inducing boredom

Depeche Mode - Ohh goodie , yet ANOTHER ****ing song with Dave Gahan crying about his heroin addiction.

Alanis Morissette - Whiney bollocks for middle class 20 something girls with a chip on their shoulder

Moby - Sprout munching tosser

The Wonderstuff - I had to include a band that polluted the British music scene in the late 80s / early 90s & it was either this lot or Carter USM.This lot win by a mile for their oh so ironic album titles that make people want to do damage to students who listened to such crap.

The Wedding Present - I`ve heard so many people around my age praising these boring bastards , I don`t get it , examining my nose pickings is more fun than listening to this crap.

U2 & Coldplay - May as well finish off with 2 bands that I don`t even need to say anything about

I like the song Hotel California, but I don't like anything else by them, other than that, I completely agree with your list....Alanis was good in her time, but very pass`e now....

But not that it matters, its your opinion so like what you like and dislike what you dislike, but theres not really any band that i REFUSE to like, if a band has a good song, i will listen to it, even if i despise the band itself, i have to admit, i liked at least a few Creed songs from my own prison even though i could never stand that band in general.

i love jagged little pill, awsome album, but after that things went down hill for her, and i love creed too, even though i was very disapointed when i actually saw the guy and his very 80's hand gesturing, they have some of the most beautiful rock songs, on all 3 albums....

Mcfly, Busted, Greenday, Good Charlotte, Coldplay, Keane, Nirvana- None of them really need an explnation do they??

But what does that have to do with the music? Why would you dislike them because of that? If it was because the music then thats fine but I don't get why people dislike groups or artists because of what they do outside, whether it is because of colour/religion or something else stupid they did. Really isn't it about the music?

I refuse to like Saosin, Senses Fail, MCR, Mae, Fall Out Boy, Atreyu, Ax7, Lamb of God, Thursday, Finch, Motion City Soundtrack, Underoath, Cursive, Circa Survive, From First to Last, Funeral For A Friend, TBS, Midtown, Armor For Sleep, Elliot Smith, Thrice, Destroyer Destroyer, Fear Before the March of Flames, Pig Destroyer, Black Dhalia Murder, and any other god forsaken emo/hardcore/metal/grindcore band i forgot, but **** this ****. I can't believe ppl try and pass this off as music and "art". What crap! I didn't know screaming bull**** was art?? Ahh... I know im genre bashing but it must be done. Ok im done ranting.
