Best bad songs ever!

Sorry if this has already been done, but I can't think if it has. We all have them songs we like even though they're really really bad, so c'mon - let's hear them.*

"It's plain to see we're over
I hate when things are over."

Inspired.

*Yes, posts from me will be 90s nostalgia.

Janszoon 08-09-2010 09:29 PM

I actually kind of like that song.

Anyway, here's one of my favorite bad songs. I thought this was the greatest when I was a kid. I remember being pretty moved by the video as well.

I was totally JK, I love Stairway, but I knew it would be posted sooner or later so I beat the haters to the punch

TheCunningStunt 08-09-2010 10:44 PM

^Was that your contribution to the guilty pleasures comp? I was just listening to that track a few days ago.

I feel this song is very thread appropriate. It managed to weasel it's way into my head for like two weeks about a month ago.

just in case if you didn't know, I'm fond of repetition.

Always a good strategy.

Pomegrant 08-10-2010 10:06 AM

Sure, it might have been popularized by Robot Unicorn Attack but it's so terrible that you can't help loving it.

James 08-10-2010 10:10 AM

Lmao, it's so ****!

Urban Hat€monger ? 08-10-2010 11:54 AM

These of course.

aaaaand:

TheCunningStunt 08-10-2010 12:36 PM

I wouldn't say Goo Goo Dolls - Iris is a bad song at all, more like a song I love by a band I hate...

Violent & Funky 08-10-2010 01:01 PM

Corey Hart has hit a lot of home runs this season.

My favorites are usually pop punk or nu metal songs:

That song is so violently bad that it's good.

I think it's his stream of conscious lyrics that does it for me.

I think it's when my boss really pisses me off and I get into my car and listen to that song is when it really hits right at home. That, and 'Slack Motherfucker' right before work...

that song is the sh*t! :D

posted this in the shoutbox much to the chagrin of some other forum goers, so i guess this'd be a "bad song"

these two, though i will say I like them

Violent & Funky 08-10-2010 01:39 PM

Ahhh, I'll support KoRn's earlier stuff but I can't stand that song. It trully is AWFUL!

edit: and I can't listen to any later blink songs when Tom sings. Nails on a chalkboard, urg.

TheCunningStunt 08-10-2010 01:51 PM

More early 00s nostalgia.

And I know it's a cover, but this song is the sh*t:

duga 08-10-2010 01:54 PM

I can't stand this band, but this cover isn't bad...

Pomegrant 08-10-2010 01:55 PM

Disturbed is terrible and you should try to disassociate yourself with them.

Violent & Funky 08-10-2010 01:55 PM

If I had to pick a Disturbed song it would have been 'Down with the Sickness'...

James 08-10-2010 02:04 PM

The other day I was in the shoutbox and we were discussing bands we like other people hate. I mentioned my liking for Panic! At The Disco and got flamed so I guess they'd qualify.

Me likey.

Piss Me Off 08-10-2010 02:09 PM

One of the quintessential cheesy 80's songs :)
