Default Which Influential Band Inspired The Worst Bands?

I'd say iron Maiden. I can't imagine how much cheesy, middle of the road metal they spawned

Why are the Beatles & The Beach Boys not on the list?

They're responsible for far too much dire twee indie pop.

I'd say Sex Pistols - think of how many unoriginal punk bands there are.

Why not

The sheer number of dire humourless post punk bands they inspired warrent their inclusion.

Well I disagree, when you look back at what they influenced in general, it's more good than bad.

I voted for Nirvana, too many bands thought a flannel shirt would make them grunge.
