I'd say iron Maiden. I can't imagine how much cheesy, middle of the road metal they spawned

This is the band I voted other for. I blame all 80's Hair metal firmly on their shoulders. Yuck!
Though in the end, try as they might even great bands influence crap. That just the way it goes.

I voted other for The Beatles, because most rock bands are influenced by The Beatles to some degree and most rock bands suck.
