I like After Dinner, but this is one of the weaker songs I've heard from them, it just does nothing to grab the listener 4/10

Never heard of this group before this song. I really liked the raw sound that the track gives off. Awwweesssommme intro guitar riffs, very eerie sounding but it was a perfect fit for the song. The verses were the weakest part for me but it still didn't take away from the entire song.

Solid post.

7.75/10

and now....

Its time for one of my funky favorites:

Goodish, funky song. Fairly generic lyrics though. I'm gonna give it a... 6/10? Sure, that sounds right.

Nice, seems like something I'd listen to. It's nice and mellow and psychedelic with hints of shoegaze, kind of reminds me of early Flying Saucer Attack or Yo La Tengo at their most out-there. Great video as well, works really well with the song and suits the mood perfectly. 8/10

Post-rock is not the sort of thing that I normally really listen too, the song though was pretty tight and quite addictive, the only real put-off was the excessive water effects which could have been toned down more 6/10

However, apart from the little piano interlude at about 3 mins in, I didn`t like the smaltzy sound of the arrangements and I found, as so often with Ferry, that his performance sounds contrived. He seems to be mainly focused on projecting some sophisticated image of himself. Why else sing in French ? And the references to Paris are pretty clumsy too; rather as if you or I had an affair in London and the only places we could mention were St. Paul`s and The Thames. Instead of adding some genuine Parisian colour, Ferry makes it sound like he never got off the tourist bus.

So, sorry, at best a six out of ten for me.

This was cool, but I wouldn't say I'd rank it as a personal favourite. The bass was pretty sweet though. 6/10

6/10

Just average. Not a bad song, but I thought it was a bit bland. Chill instrumentals, but I wasn't the biggest fan of his voice, although I did enjoy the part starting at ~ 4 minutes in.
