guy: punk is gay. i think you should marry it.

so what are some of the funniest/stupidest things someone has said about the music you listen to? Doesn't have to be negative or anything.

....Incubus?! Satanists?! And how the hell are you meant to collect Satan heads anyway..

I met a guy in a club once, and the Chilli Peppers came on, and he asked if I like that sort of music. I said yeah, kinda, the earlier stuff (trying to not to smother a complete stranger in my pedantic and self-righteous musical snobbery) and asked if he did. He said "no, all bands sound the same," I asked what he did listen to and he told me "Trance music!!" ****ing Genius!!

I was talking to my friend about Rage Against the Machine and he said, "If they can't rap they suck." I said, "well good thing the singer can actually rap like a rapper." My friend said, "they suck anyway" and I asked him if he liked rap....he said "no"...wtf
