Yeah, that one really has me puzzled. (Area 51, Is great BTW, I hope you got your hands on it) at first it reminded me of a piano variation of the bassline for A Night in Tunisia by Dizzy Gillespie (among countless others). I might check out some Thelonius Monk piano pieces, because it definitely has that vibe to it. There's a chance that it's not a sample at all, but a produced piano riff.

Right anyone know where the vocal part that starts @ 10 secs comes from?

To me it sounds like Michael Jackson, but what song is it from?

It's The Sylvers - Only One Can Win With the pitch slightly altered. The sampled phrase is at 3:04:

Brilliant SATCHMO thanks!

Just replayed it now and noticed its the sample from the vocal that appears at 2.32 with the longer word "love" and not the 2.04 one. Sorry to be so pedantic.

Listen to Music Samples, Remixes and Cover Songs | WhoSampled

Not sure if you guys are aware of this site. I've found it very useful.

J.dillas "bye" track from his "Donuts" album.

YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

The swirly sounding keyboards? Kind of a gargling sound that start at 3 seconds. Any ideas?

Edit* found it thanks to www.whosampled.com http://www.whosampled.com/sample/vie...01%20%26%202)/

The sample comes from a track by The Isley Brothers called "don't say goodnight (it's time for love (parts 1 & 2)" and the sample must have been originally played by Chris Jasper, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Jasper

Tupacs "I ain't mad at cha"

I love the piano that plays throughout, anyone know where it's sampled from?

Edit* it's from a Debarge track called "Amen"
