Stupid musical statements that you can't fathom
We've all heard them, people making extremely stupid musical statements that make you go
I probably know loads, one that sticks out... "Do you know the song Fairytale of New York?" "Yes..." "Why's it called Fairytale of New York? It sounds Irish." Regale me with tales of stupid musical statements. |
"Who are the Beatles?"
*speechless* Yes, it happened. |
"Going to see Bob Dylan"
"Who's that?" |
I had this conversation a few days ago with someone.
'I'm sick of all these X Factor contestants clogging up the charts, being famous and stopping real music from getting attention' 'Who won it last year?' 'Um..........' |
"I always thought of Green Day as Punk grown up. Like a more mature version of other Punk bands."
:O |

"Let me put on some Maroon 5 for you, dude. You're a rock guy, aren't you?"
Um no, not the ****ty kind! :banghead: In my experience, many non-rock music fans simply assume that rock = nickelback, seether, creed, staind etc. etc. etc. |
