Default Artists need to write albums again.

Remember albums like Dark Side of the Moon, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heats Club Band, Led Zeppelin IV? Modern artists no longer write albums which are designed to be listened to from start to finish, this is a great shame, they simply write songs and put them together.

Embryonic by Flaming Lips. But that came out in 2009 so you may be right in that artist don't do that anymore.

well i'm pretty sure "For Emma, Forever Ago" was written to be listened as one album from beginning to end which i do quite a lot. i understand what you mean but you're wrong most bands and artists want their albums to be listened to from beginning to end but unfortunately it doesn't happen very much anymore, it's the listeners' faults not the bands' or artists'
