Ages ago, Alfred sent me Genghis Tron's Board Up The House.

I listened to it twice and it's one hell of a sound. Unique and interesting, to say the least. The LOUDANGRYBITS juxtaposed with the softquietbits was cool at first, but it grew stale by the end of the album. But, despite the genre-tag "cybergrind", there's a fair amount of melody in this music and that makes it pretty alright with me. Thanks Alberticus!

oh, and, the album artwork matches the album sound perfectly

I've never seen Burning Down outside the classical forum much, and I was curious what this album would sound like to somebody who is entirely from that background as it is sort of a psuedo-classical piece. I myself, bridged to classical from avant-garde/experimental so it's more difficult for me to fairly gauge what a more traditional mind would take of it.

I'll also take album submissions, as well. However, one at a time.
Thank you! I got the link to the file, will downlod it later today. It's true, I've spent a lot of time in the classical threads, but there's a lot of stuff I listen to that is not classical. I just haven't discussed it as much

it sucks but i think you have to go into things like this expecting the person to not respond....kind of a expect the worst accept the best

for James:

Brothers Of The Sonic Cloth - Early Demos

i honestly think its a shame that this band is virtually unkown outside of the Seattle area.....James does that fat guy look familiar?....he should that's TAD and this is his new band...think Tad doing insane sludgy doom metal....enjoy

Asunder - A Clarion Call

this is some really heavy funeral doom metal.....

Will Haven - El Diablo

these guys were amazing to see live....and although they really sound very little like Deftones....they were all friends and tended to tour with each other

for dankrsta:

Jawbreaker - 24 Hour Revenge Therapy

you and i are like peas in a pod when it comes to our taste....but i noticed two things that you just don't seem to be that into....good punk rock and good hip/hop....i decided to introduce you to one of my favorite bands (ever!) Jawbreaker.....great music with amazing good and poetic lyrics....out of their four albums this is my favorite....enjoy

for Jackhammer:

The Upper Crust - Entitled

think AC/DC style area rock.....but also think stuck up aristocrats from France's golden days.....these guys dress up like French aristocrats and sing songs about how great it is to be rich and how stupid we are for being poor.....all the while playing some really good rock n roll....the lyrics a hilariously good....i had the pleasure of seeing these guys live....they stopped mid set and mid song and refused to continue until we (the commons) bought them all shots of top shelf whiskey!.....it was a great show indeed.....enjoy

for Violent & Funky:

Agnostic Front - Cause For Alarm/Victim In Pain

i see that you like a bit of punk type stuff but have not really swam the waters of good ol' american hardcore.....this is the first two albums of one of New York's finest.....the legendary Agnostic Front....enjoy

for GravitySlips:

Neon Hunk - Smartymob

i honestly do not know what to call this.....except artistic genius.....i had the absolute pleasure of catching this husband/wife due live a few times and each show blew me away....enjoy

for Paloma and James:

Dystopia - The Aftermath

i think you may like the music and i pretty sure you'll like the politics and general idea in the lyrics....enjoy

I heard it, liked it, liked Cunning Stunts better, accidentally deleted it, downloaded it again because of you and found it in my files just now.

Know-it-all.

Heh, that's true. I've never been into hip-hop, not that I didn't want to, just never really explored what kind would appeal to me the most,...other than Beastie Boys that is. Oh, I've noticed I like jazzy hip-hop though. As for punk, like I said, it was more of a passing phase for me. I didn't delve in there for too long like I did into post-punk and new wave. But, I still very much like to hear it even though I don't listen to it very often. So thanks for this album. You hit the right spot

Listener - Wooden Heart

Sent this to Charlemagne. This is one of my favorite albums ever. Great talk music indie stuff. The vocals and lyrics are just so emotional well delivered. I hope he likes this. If anyone else wants this just ask
